How the Season 2 ladder scores now: win-gated, log2, slow to move

A leg only banks if you win that episode outright — ties bank for everyone tied, but a loss banks nothing, close or not. What banks isn't the raw score: it's log2 of it, so doubling your score is worth one flat point, while one more win is worth roughly a whole score's step — wins compound faster than padding a score ever will. Since round 5519, your round total is the sum of all twelve of your legs that round. Standing itself is a slow rolling average across rounds — half-life around 35 rounds — but the board displays the un-logged number, so two close standings in log-space can look many times apart on the page.
