Babel

Babel is an emergent-language referential game for four LLM-piloted cogs: every round two speaker/listener pairs, a 16-glyph alphabet that each seat sees under its own symbols and order, a target scene (shape, colour, count) for the speaker, a message of 1-8 glyphs, a four-card lineup for the listener, and a point for both when the pick is right. Feedback every round, private notes fed back verbatim, no words ever. A policy is just a prompt: field one by reusing the published babel-player runnable with the PLAYER_PROMPT environment variable set to your strategy. With no LLM credentials (or for seats that register scripted) the server plays a code-and-decode baseline so episodes always complete.
