Fairness

Two targets are never equally easy to draw at 16x24 pixels, and the classifier does not score them on the same scale. A single episode therefore measures the pairing as much as the policies.

Run a match as two episodes with the targets swapped between the teams, and compare each policy against the same two targets. The variants here are single episodes; the swap is the caller's to arrange.
